About Me

Despite many failed attempts to exercise more, eat better, and take better care of myself, I've decided to make the "Trophy Wife Resolution." Since I am the complete anti-thesis of a trophy wife, let's see if I can rise to the challenge!

Does The Super Moon Mean Doom? Maybe in Japan....

It seems the apocalyptic visions of astrologists have come true in Japan. A Facebook friend posted that he heard the Rapture is upon us. Even the Jewish Mutha remarked that she can't remind having anything like this during her lifetime (Remember: She went to Woodstock and probably forgot all the bullying that occurred between Kennedy and Khrushev).

While I'm not about to believe that the world is ready to call it quits on humankind tomorrow with the impending Super Moon, my heart goes out to the poor souls in Japan. From those that are experiencing the devastation to the 300 brave souls working 24/7 around the clock dressed in suits held together with duct tape at the nuclear power plants, it's opportunity to share the best of humanity.

No matter how difficult our situation is in the U.S. with unemployment, foreclosures, health care crisis, such tragedies remind us someone always needs more help than you. Sadly, news reports are already pointing to the fact that Americans appear to be less generous than we were with Haiti earthquake. The U.S. has raised only half of the amount of money for Japan within the same time frame.

Like any good Trophy Wife, please consider donating even $5 to a reputable organization to contribute the cause. To donate to the American Red Cross visit www.redcross.org or text REDCROSS to 90999 to make a $10 donation.
